City of Escalon is accepting applications for part-time Animal Services Assistant. This position will provide shared weekday, weekend and holiday animal shelter duties; assist in the care and maintenance of the animal shelter by sanitizing and disinfecting animal care areas, with some adoption and returning of animals duties, and to provide positive customer service to the public over the phone and in person. Possession of a valid California Drivers License and the ability to work varied hours including weekdays, holidays and weekends is required. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
