Candidates must be able to work in a team in a fast paced work environment.
This position requires individuals to perform general production duties during warmer climates in a food manufacturing environment during the months of July through October.
Currently hiring for multiple shifts.
Benefits & Compensation Overview:
Sick Pay- available after successful completion of 90 days of employmentLife insurance available after employee has completed 30 days of employment.
Starting Pay $18.
11Union facilityWork Schedule:
Monday-Sunday during the months of July- OctoberFirst shift (6AM-2PM)- second shift (2PM-10PM)- and third shift (10PM-6AM).

The Escalon story began in the 1940's by Cristoforo and Emma Colombo.
Each season- our tomato crop begins with seed varieties that have been carefully cultivated by our research team to provide the best balance of flavor- aroma- and color.
Many of the growers who plant these seeds were handpicked by Cristoforo Colombo more than 50 years ago.

Responsibilities & Duties:
May include- but isn't limited to:
Responsible for following all factory policies and procedures.
Responsible for removing undesired or defective fruits- weeds- foreign material from product being producedTomato sorting based on color- maturity- grade- sizeBe on your feet up to 8 hours every day performing repetitive tasks when sortingResponsible for keeping work area clean at all times.
Sweep floor and clean up spills as needed or directed by lead.
Perform general cleaning throughout work areas.
Handle packaging material accordingly if required by job taskResponsible for wearing proper PPE including bump camp- hair net- composite toe shoes in all production areasAbility to lift- stack product casesResponsible for reporting any Safety or Quality violationsResponsible for learning multiple jobs based on company needOther duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Open availability across all three shifts.
Must be available to work up to 7 days a week during fresh pack season (July-October)- including holidaysAbility to stand up to 8 hoursCandidates must be willing to work in different departments based on business needAdhere to factory GMP's by following all Safety and Quality regulationsAbout the Company:
