BRC Coordinator/QA:
Oversees development, implementation, and reviews and maintains BRC Global Standard.
Oversees all Quality, Safety and Legality compliances ensuring that Food Safety is controlled and implemented on a daily basis.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
The duties of BRC Coordinator/QA include completing reports, prioritizing projects, completing the activities log and making sure that personnel are knowledgeable and qualified about the task given, and creating changes to their management in order to facilitate their work processes and checking everyday food safety functions are being carried out daily throughout the company.
The duty requirement should possess good oral and written skills in communication, have comprehension on procedures and policies.
Motivate and manage employees and be able to work long hours when needed.
The BRC Coordinator/QA works to make sure that Food Safety training and documentation within the operations in all business departments are achieved.
Review individual and departmental employees on the ability of using GMP's and reporting any breeches within the policy be reported to upper management.
Provide major contributions to enhance the department's function.
Perform general housekeeping.
Ensure plant adheres to Food Safety, GMP's and all company policies.
Manage administrative functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the program.
Ensure performance goals, all order deadlines are met and set to the highest standards.
Performs sanitation clearance inspections Maintain document control and logs distribution to relevant departments on a daily/ weekly/ bi-monthly or monthly basis Communicate with new and existing customers for custom processing/ specifications/ billing Maintain production calendar/ scheduling to ensure each order is ready on a timely manner Implement positive release program creating the respective certificates Create specifications for each order per customer request and submit it to production Monitor production quality for in-line and finished product BRC Coordinator/QA Requirements:
Oversee development, implementation, review and maintenance of the BRC requirements including food safety and quality manuals Ensure the integrity of the BRC system:
Leading Food Safety & Quality Management meeting, Internal Audit Schedules, Hygiene & Fabrications Inspections.
Communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the BRC Ability to read and understand In-House lab results and testing Communicate, investigate and create a professional resolution to customer complaints while working with staff to resolve and investigate the issue Attend and preside over meetings.
Participate in strategic daily planning.
Conducting internal, customer and third-party audits:
Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly.
BRCGS, Kosher, Pest Control Assessment, Pasteurization Validation, etc.
Plan and implement the annual calendars.
Maintaining and implement the HACCP Program and Policies.
Understand BRC Food Safety global standards and certifications.
Ability to travel for trainings; per company expense.
Monitor and Manage all Logs, Certifications, Audits in a professional and organized manner.
